If I could give a -0- star I would. This is the worse place I have ever had the unfortunate opportunity to have association with. I had 3 people who had stayed with this group and all of them died. They only care about who can pay the most or which insurance they can rob. Their staff is uncaring and the facility is just adequate. I actually received a call from my loved one who told me to call the nurses station because their roommate had passed away and nobody would answer the call button. So I had to call and tell them that one of their patients was deceased. It was under Tunnel Rehabilitation Center but changed their name to City View. I would call it more like Sh*tty View. You can change you name but you cannot change the terrible service! Don’t send your loved ones here unless you are hoping they die!

My dad was at the place a few days ago. What is saw was a man next to my dad rings for the nurse to come. Nurse ask what do you want? He said I need to go to bathroom. Nurse said my shift is almost over. Can you hold it? Next shift is coming. Man said okay. 30 to 40 minutes later. No one came. At that time I was leaving. So don’t know when the man went to the bathroom. What wonderful service!

We work for a non profit organization for the elderly with disabilities and I just want to thank you so much for the food you shared with our residents. They were happy and thankful!

Don’t choose this place. It’s a complete racket. No charts, no communication for caregivers. If you call the receptionist transfers you to the local nursing station voice mail and it’s an endless loop – no one listens to messages. You have to show up there physically to get any feedback. The only human I’ve ever been able to speak to was the billing department (surprise). My mother’s room doesn’t have working outlets so her phone hasn’t been charged and I can’t call her directly. Stains on the beds and walls. She tells me she just stares at the ceiling and someone comes in to drop meals. Advice: -Get patient charts -Give caregivers a contact apart from nursing station -Send updates to caregivers proactively. !!!!!Update: in response to their response below I called that number for the administrator from City View today and they are not here. My nurse just told me “we only check on a the patient if something is wrong”. How can you respond same day to a Google review but not to me standing here or calling?

Like most care facilities, severely understaffed and existing staff is overworked. A few saving grace nurses who are awesome but most definitely don’t want to be there. Assistance bell rings don’t get answered for fours. My family member would be left soiled for hours and forced to sleep in a room with the lights on. Her food was always cold. The healthcare system is broken yes but there’s never a need to be cruel to elderly folks in need and that’s what this place is. This place was a living hell for my family member.

Rowena was an amazing help my first day there. I showed up late and she offered me refreshments and reassurance that everything was going to be okay and it turned out to be just that. Her presence at the front is something that is very special for the location.

Excellent service and attention to detail received from Rowena at the front desk. Our questions have been and continue to be answered clearly since day one. Every day policies and procedures are reminded as you enter the facility to ensure everyone is safe. On behalf of our family, thank you Rowena for making us feel safe and with peace of mind as we leave for the day leaving our loved one taken care of and in good hands. Every staff member is above and beyond in the workplace throughout the facility.

This place is nightmare and nuisance in the neighborhood! 5am US. Foods truck parks a front of the building with loud vibrating engine for hours and hours takes forever to unload, because of this my building’s windows vibrates, my rest and sleep is always interrupted. Now they installed loud sirens on the garage door constant 24 hour noise, it’s worse at night! You located in the residential area at least be thoughtful and respectful, tell your delivery drivers to turn off the engine while unloading, and that garage sirens needs to be taken down.

I just arrived at city view this week and I’m extremely pleased. The staff is awesome. The doctor is awesome. The nurses are awesome, but I really want to emphasize how marvelous the kitchen is… I have had a numerous amount of short term skilled nursing facilities stays, at least six and the kitchen have never been satisfactory. This is the first time that the head chef and director of the kitchen is a black man…. OK, OK he might not be all black But he definitely has soul! Chef Jason pays attention to detail and quickly delivers. I’ve had a smile on my face since breakfast. It’s not easy When you have to leave your home for weeks at a time and put your Health and well-being in the hands of patient care providers. It’s very stressful because you don’t know when to expect. At City view they Get It! It’s evident because the services, treatments, and practices are provided with genuine love & compassion which create a positive and professional environment that makes me feel safe and secure while I stay here.

My brother was at this facility from 2015 to March 2025 when he passed. They took really good care of him over the years they kept me informed with any changes he went through. Egor his social worker was amazing I could talked to almost anytime when he wasn’t busy but sometimes when he was busy he would take the time to either call me or send me a quick text. God bless u Egor.

I stayed in this facility in Jan 2020 and it is quite different. There is not only a name change but everyone that works here is super attentive and caring especially the nursing assistant Mercy. I did have to wait a few times longer than expected for my pain pills but all other care was outstanding. Everyone in the rehab, especially Ryan, were super informative, patient, and knew how to get consistent performance out of me. The food was catered to my vegetarian preference which was amazingly very good, and Jason, the head chef listened to all my likes and dislikes and made good on all choices If I ever have to rehab again, I wouldn’t hesitate to choose City View Post Acute.

This place is great. Super kind staff, very clean facility, amazing lineup of activities for the patients!!! I came and played bingo with my grandma! Kim is a standout individual, truly feels like this isn’t a job, legit this is a calling and my grandma appreciates it so much. Miss Rowena at the front desk is an ultimate treasure. So friendly and genuine, she knew my name by day 2 and is so knowledgeable and helpful. Miss Lily is a superstar. She is so patient and so helpful with me and my grandma. I legitimately think she has ESP because she will walk into the room before my grandma thinks she might need something. Wild. Love it. 11/10. So in the end, very thankful my grandmother is in good hands. No one likes to deal with loved ones in pain/recovering but this team makes it happen in a positive way.

Our social worker, Jean Eastridge, really rose to the occasion after a shaky start at CVPA. She educated us on Medicare, arranged continuing care, and communicated with the owner of the senior home that ended up as our next stop. She knows what she’s doing.

This review must NOT be misconstrued as recommendation for City View Post Acute- in any way- as a facility for residential care. Sadly,it is NOT. That would be a 1 Star Review… To be succinct: If you are reading this in an effort to decide whether to place a loved one at City View- most particularly a very elderly &/or dependent individual, I STRONGLY advise you to KEEP LOOKING. (Short term stays for independent individuals may be okay). With that provisio, I am, however, pleased to provide a strong endorsement (5 STARS!) for one individual who works within the owner(s) financial department: JOY RANDOLPH. After enduring several months of a wide variety of intolerable problems with City View’s in house financial office, I was greatly relieved to have been contacted by Ms Randolph in July 2024. FINALLY! I knew immediately that she was a professional with whom I could work effectively. AND, I was tremendously relieved when she agreed to personally continue to handle all of my payments going forward, which removed me from the torture of attempting to work with an inept staff. Beyond that, since our first contact, Joy has consistently demonstrated a high degree of professionalism, reliability, & trustworthiness. And, she is easy to contact! (Unheard of at City View)! For all of these attributes, I am very grateful. Joy is the ONE employee at City View who has stepped up & provided solutions to several serious problems- by simply behaving accordingly (credibly & professionally & making sure no further problems occurred). I am writing this, not only to recognize Joy for her excellent work & demeanor, but also so that anyone else experiencing difficulties with their payments to City View (or any other financially related issue), will know where to turn for help. Just get in touch with Joy Randolph and I expect your problems will be resolved very quickly! THANK YOU JOY !!! Mikaela Larsen

I had the very good fortune of interacting with 2nd floor Anthony, in my dealings with city view post acute. He went above and beyond what I expect from staff at these kind of facilities and I kinda wish his way was the standard way everywhere, because it makes everything super seamless. Also his floor was very clean and I’ve developed a nose, if you will, for what clean means.A+ for cleanliness and efficiency and professional. Shout out to Yobel at reception for being clear in his communication and professional.i can’t leave 1 separate review for each of these people, but I imagine if any organization had a 2nd floor Anthony and a Yobel, they’d be better than they are. Much Appreciated, Jeremy N.

My family member has been staying in City View for more than 2 years. He has been well-taken care of throughout these times. The medical staff is great. I would like to express my gratitude to the hardworking 3rd floor staff: Alex, Zhalya, Iannna, Jenna, Justin, and the CNAs. They work hard to ensure everything runs smoothly on the floor. Their jobs are difficult and I pay great respect to what they do. I deducted one star because my family member (who is wheelchair bounded) did not get showers on a regular basis. The belongings have been stolen overnight in multiple occassions. I would also appreciate if City View could provide grooming services (such as haircut or nail trimmings) on a regular basis to the patients.
